An old movie about traditions in some country which they have to feed eagles with dead bodies.?

The story line is roughly about a mother who is dying and her son have
to bring her to a mountain to feed the eagles when she is dead as this
is their tradition in their country. It's a very old film and I cannot
remember the name. Help please?
